Spider Control in Brisbane, QLD
What is included
What Is Included in Our Spider Control
- Webs brushed down from eaves, gutters, window frames and the corners of verandahs and patios.
- Garages, garden sheds, letterboxes and pool fences checked, where redbacks like to sit undisturbed.
- Inside, a treatment along skirting boards, behind furniture and around the windows where spiders shelter.
- Outside, a treatment around the base of the walls, the doors, the window frames and the eaves.
- Outdoor furniture, play equipment and stacked pots checked, since children and pets reach those first.
- We talk through the products with you, and what to do about children and pets, before we start.
- Advice on outdoor lighting and clutter, which draw the insects that spiders come in to feed on.
Why us
Why Choose Us for Spider Control?
Accountable for every job, long after the day
Every spider control job is done by the people who will still be here next year.
Tested and signed off before we leave
Everything we touch on your spider control is tested before we go, you get walked through exactly what was done.
Local pest controllers, not a call centre
A pest controller answers the phone and the same faces come back if the job runs over a day.
How the job runs
How a spider treatment runs
The call
Tell us which spiders you are seeing, where, and whether there are young children or pets on the property. Webs around the eaves are one job, redbacks under the outdoor furniture are another, and a large spider inside once a week is often a sign of insects it is following in.
The written quote
You get the scope in writing: which rooms are treated, how far the outside treatment goes, and whether the garage, shed and play equipment are included. Anything that needs moving before we arrive, such as stacked pots or stored furniture against the walls, is listed so the treatment can reach behind it.
Treatment day and handover
We brush down the webs first, then treat inside and out. Before we leave you are told when children and pets can go back onto treated areas, and that webs may return for a few days while spiders already sheltering nearby come into contact with the treatment.
Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Which areas do you cover?
Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding South East Queensland, from our base at Hope Island. Twelve suburbs have their own pages on the service areas page, but they are a starting point rather than a boundary. If you are unsure whether we reach your suburb, call us and we will check.
Do you answer the phone after hours?
Yes. The phone is answered at any hour, every day, on the same number shown at the top of this page. Call with your location and what you are seeing, and we will talk you through what to do next.
Do you work on businesses as well as homes?
Yes. We work in family homes, rentals and apartments, and in shops, offices, food businesses and commercial properties. Commercial visits are set around trading hours, and the treatment details are recorded after each visit.
Can you quote over the phone?
We can often give guidance from a clear description and a few photos. Termite work and more complex problems usually need someone on site before an accurate treatment price is possible, because what is in the roof, the walls or the subfloor decides the scope.
Why do pest control quotes vary so much?
The pest, how established it is, the size of the property, access, the treatment method and any follow-up visits all change the scope and the price. When you compare quotes, compare the areas treated, the method, the preparation and the follow-up that is included. A lower total can simply mean a narrower job.
What details should I give you when I call?
Tell us where and when you saw the pest or the sign of it, and take a clear photo if it is safe to do so. Mention any spray or bait already used, and tell us about children, pets and anyone with allergies in the house. All of that helps us prepare before we arrive.
Should I disturb termites if I find them?
No. Leave the mud leads and damaged timber exactly as they are, do not spray the area, and call us to arrange an inspection. Termites that are disturbed often move away and go quiet, which makes the activity harder to assess and treat.
Can I spray a wasp nest before you arrive?
Please do not approach or disturb an active nest. Keep people and pets away from it and call us for advice that suits where the nest is and how big it has grown.
What should I do after a bite or a bad sting?
Get medical help first, and call for urgent help straight away if someone has trouble breathing or a severe reaction. Dealing with the pest comes after everyone is safe.
What do I need to know about children and pets?
The preparation and re-entry instructions matter, so we go through them with you before we start. Tell us about every animal in the house, including fish and birds, and we will explain what to move, cover or keep away before we start.
What should I keep after a treatment?
Keep the invoice, the treatment details, any safety directions and our recommendations, along with any termite paperwork the job produced. If anything on them is unclear, ask and we will explain it.
Will one treatment keep pests away for good?
No treatment removes every future risk. Long-term protection comes from the right treatment, regular checks and practical changes around the property, such as fixing leaks, clearing garden beds from the walls and sealing the gaps pests use.
Does a clean home still need pest control?
Often, yes. Cleaning removes food, but pests still come in looking for water and shelter. Entry points, moisture and termite risk have nothing to do with how clean the kitchen is.
How often should I have a termite inspection?
It depends on the property and its risk factors, such as its age, construction, garden and history. After an inspection we can recommend a schedule that suits that house rather than a one-size answer.
Will supermarket spray get rid of a nest?
It may kill the insects you can see without reaching the nest or colony they came from. The right response depends on the species and where it is living, which is why identification comes first.
